Domestic Abuse Training

The aim of the two-day Domestic Abuse course  is to enable participants to identify and build an assessment and management relationship with clients, staff and other agencies in relation to domestic abuse situations. This foundation course will encompass exploration of definition and roots to domestic abuse, identification and management of risk assessment, and liaison with specialist agencies. The course is suitable for those who work with vulnerable client groups who have difficulties, of which one area may be domestic abuse. This course will provide increased knowledge and awareness, but is not designed to prepare personnel for intensive individual counseling work on domestic abuse.

'I can't tell you how much this course helped me in working with my clients. I have gained information, techniques and greater confidence; brilliant training - brilliant trainer'
