One of the most effective ways for a manager or supervisor to influence others in a positive way is to lead by example. This is the base theory of Pro Social Modelling. Grey Cell delivers a one day course Pro Social Modelling course designed for managers and supervisors of staff and also for those who work with persons with anti social behaviour difficulties. It will introduce participants to the theory and practice of pro Social Modelling in working with clients with anti social behaviour problems, and staff. It will also offer information, techniques and opportunities to increase and enhance skills in utilising pro social methods to change colleague and staff behaviour

Target Audience:

This course provides for all those who manage and supervise staff in any agency or company.

Objectives

By the end of the courses, participants will:

Will have received information on and the opportunity to discuss the theory and principles of Pro Social Modelling
Will have received, by presentation and exercises, the opportunity to identify their own modelling influences, and their belief systems relating to work with anti social behaviour and also with offenders if relevant
Will have identified the basic anti-social and pro social factors present in Pro Social work
Will have identified areas for improvement and consolidation in induction, enforcement and reinforcement of the Pro Social Model relating to supervision and change of colleagues and /or staff
