This two-day Training for Trainers programme aims to provide an introduction to training preparation and delivery techniques. It is for trainers and facilitators of all levels and for all topics. It offers the techniques and opportunity to develop and enhance skills, and to receive information on the effective transfer of materials to others. The course offers a comprehensive range of methods, tools and techniques, and will be a modelling programme for clear delivery. The programme is experiential, and participants will be expected to plan, prepare and deliver a 15-minute training presentation or facilitated training session to other participants.

Target Audience:

This course provides information and techniques for all those who train or facilitate in agencies or companies.

Objectives

By the end of the courses, participants will:

Identified their strengths, areas for development in training, and rehearsed at least one of these development areas
Received information on learning styles and flexibility of approach to meet these
Received information and practice on preparation of materials and session structures
Identified audio visual aid techniques
Received techniques and information on responding to and eliciting questions
Received information and practice in leadership and co leadership methods
Prepared and presented a 15 minute training session
Received laminates and handouts that will assist and consolidate the learning gained within the course
